Parents who have children taking part in this year's AIMS Games can now see how their kids are doing at the touch of a button thanks to Deb Posa and her team at FindUs.

The owner and developer of the FindUs app says her creation is the first in the industry, and gives parents who can't attend the games the ability to find out how their child's school is going at the event.

'It does several things,” explains Deb, 'but we're using it for the AIMS Games to live-stream results through the app.

'We create a very unique QR code for the AIMS Games. When you download the app and scan their code, it loads their logo and information onto your phone and then you can track live-streaming and results.”

Deb says the app has been popular at this year's event, with 'thousands” of people downloading the free app to follow the games.

As part of the AIMS Games association, Deb has also sponsored a trophy for the table winner of the games and will present a prize of a paddle board for those who download the app during the games.

Deb says she has been pleased with the response to the application.

'It's been extremely popular,” she says. 'They are encouraging people to download the app and follow the games on their phones – one of the highest-used devices to access the internet.”

The app will still come in handy after the games have ended, with users able to download other business QR codes to have their information available at the touch of a button.

'It's collecting their information like an electronic wallet,” explains Deb, 'so it links to businesses' information.

'We are using it in three different ways – it collects your businesses information with a click of a button, it follows the AIMS Games and it runs loyalty promotions to businesses.

'No one, we believe or know of, has done anything quite like what we've managed to achieve.”
