Jaron says the fire crew assisted at the scene but no one was trapped and there were no reports of any injuries.
However, the power authority was called for as the vehicle ran over a power plinth, but there were no reports of power outages for the area at this stage.
A SunLive reader contacted the newsroom to say she heard a car travelling down the street 'very fast” and heard a loud 'bang”.
'We jumped up and saw smoke coming out of the vehicle. They crashed into a property just around the corner.”

the driver will only be charged by the police... not by the plinth. Things could have heated up real quick. Glad no one was seriously hurt
