The MetService is issuing a snowfall warning for the Desert Road State Highway One today.
A MetService media release says a few snow showers are expected overnight Sunday and early Monday morning.
It is expected to hit from midnight tonight to 7am Monday, 1 to 3cm of snow may accumulate near the summit, with lesser amounts down to 900 metres.

dont even think about snow on the desert rd or the powers that be will close it
