A person was critically injured following a single-vehicle crash off Galatea Road in Te Teko early this morning.

The crash was reported about 1:25am on Saturday morning when a van was found in a paddock having rolled.

The patient was flown by helicopter to Tauranga Hospital.

State Highway 30 was closed between Galatea Rd and MacDonald Rd at 2.12am and a road diversion put in place providing an alternative route for westbound traffic.
