Police are now in a position to name the man who died following a crash on Parry Palm Avenue, Waihi, on Sunday July 12.

He was Keith Silvester, 90, of Waihi.

Police extend their sympathies to his family and friends.

The serious collision occurred between a car and a campervan last Sunday, with emergency services responding to the crash on State Highway 2 and Parry Palm Ave.
