Fire emergency services have been called to a property in Brookfield this afternoon.

A SunLive reader reports that two loud bangs were heard, before three fire trucks arrived in Solomon St.

"I could smell smoke. But can't see flames or smoke," says a local resident.

"The fire trucks are at the scene checking things over."
