There is a power outage at Mount Maunganui.
A SunLive reader reports that power is also out at the Bayfair Shopping Centre.
Powerco advises that a power cut occurred at 3.51pm and is affecting 28 properties.
A site investigation is underway.
The power is estimated to be restored by 8pm.
