Experience the ihi (excitement) and passion of our Te Matatini competitors and local school groups performing live at Hawaiki Herenga Haka, a celebration of Tauranga Moana Kapa Haka at Trustpower Arena, Baypark, today from 11am-4pm.

Alongside kapa haka performances, there will be kai trucks, Māori stall holders, poi making, clay pipe and raranga bracelet workshops, making it the perfect day out for you and your whānau. Drivers are reminded that a detour is still in place on Truman Lane. Access to Trustpower Baypark is via State Highway 2 Sandhurst interchange only. Access to Truman Lane from the State Highway 29A roundabout is closed.

The Tauranga Society of Artists are holding their April Original Expo 2023 from 9.30am - 5pm today and tomorrow at Tauranga Boys' College gymnasium. Come and see over 400 artworks on display including tiny art, guest exhibitors, painting and drawing demonstrations and with the People's Choice Award there will be plenty to feast your eyes on!

There are Tessa's Treasure Hunt locations in Waipuna Park and Johnson Reserve - come for a walk with council staff and tick these locations off the list!These walks are free for all ages - you just need to bring yourself and your dog.
Come and support the Te Puke United Football Club today as they play two games starting with the rezzies in the Miller Cup taking in Tauranga City with kick off at 12pm at Links Ave. Following this the first team will be playing in the Chatham Cup taking on University of Auckland with kick off at 2pm at Litt Park, Te Puke. It's an exciting day for the club. After a seven-year absence, the men's team are back in the Chatham Cup. The boys are buzzing about the game and would love your support today, so if you are free get down and cheer them on.
