The 2023 Tauranga Bird Show is being held today Saturday, May 27 from 1pm-5pm and Sunday, May 28, from 8.30am-1pm (last ticket sales midday), at Tauranga Racecourse 1383 Cameron Rd, Greerton. Entry is cash only – adults $5, kids $3, family $15. Cost $5 adult, $3 child, Pre-schoolers Free, Family $15. Cash only.

A fun family time while learning about all the well-being resources available in Merivale, Gate Pa and Greerton is the focus of an open day for whānau in Tauranga South today. From 10am to 3pm, the free open whānau day will feature a kidz zone, before school checks, wuick workout sessions, a Kaumātua area, Mirimiri sessions, Rongoā Māori, glu shots, childhood immunisations and vaccine boosters. The Open Whānau Day is being held from 10am - 3pm on Saturday May 27 at Te Manu Toroa, 11 Tebbs Lane, Gate Pa, Tauranga (off Courtney Road).
