Artist talk and live painting demonstration with Briar York

On the final day of the Tupuanuku exhibition at The Incubator Creative Hub, Tauranga Historic Village, Briar York will be doing an artist talk about her process and style of painting along with a live painting demonstration of a piece she is working on at the moment. The talk goes from 12 - 1pm.
"This will be perfect for any budding young artists or art enthusiasts who would like to know more about my creative process and style," says Briar.
Why not grab a bite to eat at the cafe after the talk, then stay on for the free concert, which kicks off at 2pm? What a lovely afternoon that would b!

Check out the Rack Sale at Little Big Markets today from 9am - 2pm at Coronation Park, Mount Maunganui. The Little Big Markets Racksale is an opportunity to buy and sell pre-loved items.

If you're in Waihi, head along to the Waihi Eclectic Market hosted by Waihi Lions at the Waihi Memorial Hall from 9am - 1pm. Stall holders are selling jewellery, books, art, pottery, garden art, woodware,baking and yummy treats.

A Cars & Caffeine meet up is being hosted by Mount Tyres at 9 Hull Road from 12pm - 2pm. This is a fundraiser for KidsCan, a leading New Zealand charity dedicated to helping Kiwi kids affected by poverty. Come along and help raise some funds. During this event there will be a donation box and a raffle. The objective is to fund raise as much as possible as well as supplying an awesome car jam packed fun day out for the family.

Robbie Laven and Mike Garner are presenting a show of acoustic blues, ragtime and Americana at the Barrel Room, Tauranga from 7pm - 10pm. This will be featuring acoustic guitars, resonators, mandolin, fiddle, lap steel and washboard.

At Jack Dusty's Ale House in Bureta, Dave Baker and Ian Taylor will be performing a Saturday Session live on bass, keyboards, guitar, harmonica and vocals from 2pm.
