Head along to Welcome Bay School for the Bricks of Plenty Brick Show event. There will be amazing collections and builds on display, LEGO for sale, raffles, bake sale, sausage sizzle, plant sale, brick pits - plenty galore! Tickets cost $5 per person with tamariki 3 and under free. EFTPOS and cash available. Street parking is available with additional parking on the field, with access via Esmeralda Street.
The Bay of Plenty Fijians Community are celebrating Fiji Language Week and Fiji Independence Day in Te Puke today with a community sports and family fun day starting at 9am at Te Puke Sports Club, 65 Atuaroa Ave. At the end of the day at 3pm they are having some cakes and kava ceremony and talking about the story of Fiji independence and their journey here to the Bay of Plenty.
