Police have recovered $10,000 of stolen property, including pools, tools, clothing, and electronics in Tauranga.

The Western Bay of Plenty’s Retail Crime Unit received information on Tuesday about three suspected shoplifters in a vehicle, a police statement said today.

Police spotted the vehicle on Cameron Rd and stopped it on Sharyn Place.

Two men were arrested. A woman was found by a police dog unit after fleeing.

A vehicle search uncovered stolen items including two pools, DeWalt tools, high value electronics, designer clothing and handbags, and health and beauty products from 11 Tauranga retailers.

The property was returned to the stores.

A 35-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman are to appear in Tauranga District Court today on multiple shoplifting charges.

A 39-year-old man is also due in court charged with shoplifting items worth more than $1000.

They must be very aware of the criminals out there as I see they have obtained some security camera's in their haul. Lol.
