Emergency services are responding to the scene of a truck crash on State Highway 2, Tauranga Eastern Link, near Pāpāmoa.

“A two-vehicle crash on SH2 near Bruce Rd was reported at 4.10pm,” a police spokesperson said.

“The southbound lane is currently blocked but appears no injuries have been reported.”

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi said due to a truck crash, SH2 Tauranga Eastern Link is closed eastbound at the Bruce Rd off-ramp.

“Expect delays and follow [the] detour.”
