A woman has been charged in relation to the death of a man at a Tauranga property.

Emergency services were called to Fraser St at 11.40am on Sunday, where they found a man dead.

A 37-year-old woman was due in Tauranga District Court today charged with assault on a person in a family relationship, Detective Inspector Craig Rawlinson said in a statement today.

“The homicide investigation is ongoing, and police are not ruling out any further charges.”

Rawlinson said police would still like to hear from anyone who might have information about this incident or those involved.
