An elderly man knocked out of his wheelchair by a car on Cameron Road this afternoon has been taken to Tauranga Hospital for observation.
The accident happened in Cameron Road near the intersection with Monmouth Street about 4pm.
Further details have been requested of the police media team.

a mobility scooter to me not a wheel chair...................hope the gentleman is doing ok.
