Bus services travelling via the Bayfair interchange may experience some minor delays and rerouting from Monday, January 29 due to the development work at Bayfair.
Bayhopper routes 2, 30, 36, 33, 78 and 79 will be affected as well as Te Puke routes 221 and 222, and the Whakatane - Tauranga and Rotorua - Tauranga services.
Current bus stops will not be affected.
The Bayfair bus interchange is likely to be relocated later in the year due to the ongoing development of the complex and any further updates will be available at www.baybus.co.nz as they come to hand.

Says who? As for calling yourself "sensible" I'd say the most sensible among us are those who use buses. For sure they get held up in traffic, but that's only because so many people still buy in to the outdated notion that continuing to fork out money to maintain a car, and then sit in (as well as contributing to) morning congestion day after day is 'independence'. Well sorry to burst that little bubble, but the really independant ones have organised ourselves, made our way to our transport and sail by you most mornings in dedicated bus lanes.
