There are some power outages across the Western Bay of Plenty.

In Tahawai, Katikati, 199 properties are without power. The power outage occurred at 10.26am.

A site investigation is underway. PowerCo estimate that power will be restored to these properties by 2.30pm.

In Katikati, 10 properties are without power due to network project work which is estimated to be completed by 4pm today.

Network project work is also the reason for a power outage to 96 Mount Maunganui properties. The power cut occurred at 8.51am and is estimated to be restored by 3.30pm.
