The Zespri AIMS Games continues today with yachting at the Tauranga Yacht & Power Boat Club at Sulphur Point, gymnastics at ARGOS Gymsport and cross country at Waipuna Park.
The yachting features around 100 competitors aged 11-13 years chasing the wind and prizes each day until Tuesday September 5 in the Tauranga harbour.
Over in Welcome Bay, around 850 runners will be lining up for the cross country at Waipuna Park.
At ARGOS Gymsport in Judea, 500 gymnasts aged 11-13 years will be competing in a range of activities including trampoline, rings, vault, spring floor, beam and bars.

The Zespri AIMS Games Opening Ceremonies on Sunday afternoon and evening will entertain and inspire competitors and get the week-long school sporting championships off to an unforgettable start.
The Zespri AIMS Games opening ceremonies will be held at 3pm and 7pm at Mercury Baypark Arena. The 7pm opening ceremony can be viewed live online here
With a mix of live performances and official formalities, both shows will feature the same content.
