Motorists are advised to expect delays on both State Highway 25 in the Coromandel peninsula and on State Highway 2 in the Karangahake Gorge, due to slip repairs.

SH25 between Coromandel and Whitianga has stop/go traffic management and a speed restriction in place.

Due to Victoria Battery slip repairs, stop/go traffic management and speed restrictions are also in place on SH2 between Paeroa and Waihi, in the Karangahake Gorge,

Motorists are advised to take extra care and expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

Slip repairs on both highways are expected to be completed by 6pm, Saturday, June 29.
